Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza opened up in November of 2018 and is located at the corner of River Street and Main Street, anchoring the square in downtown Ellijay. Since then, the wood fired oven from Naples, Italy has been serving authentic old-world pizza using only the highest quality and locally sourced ingredients.
Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza is located in a newly restored early nineteenth century former hotel and restaurant built at the height of the timber industry in the southern Appalachians and with the wealth that it brought. The restoration and renovation reflects the rugged mountain life in a thriving but remote town while modernizing the building to create a uniquely hip and lively space. This is complimented by the cuisine, which utilizes ancient cooking methods with modern, all natural flavors. Simple food with a modern twist.
The Caesar salad and Burrata is amazing. All the pizza crusts are nice an thin!

Great place with indoor and outdoor dining in downtown Ellijay just a 7-minute ride from our cabin. Great sandwiches and salads. Only open for breakfast/lunch!
