The scenery is amazing and the outdoor open air seating is perfect place to enjoy with your family. It’s also a great place to take visitors to show off the great food Beaumont has to offer! Amelia Farm and Market uses local produce and pasture raised and finished meats. All seafood is fresh from the Gulf from local purveyors. Amelia also offers custom menu options for those with allergies, including gluten free options. Enjoy a true farm-to-table experience as you dine on the patio and enjoy Beaumont's blue skies and sprawling oaks trees.

If you are getting a lot of family members together there are also two private dining rooms that can accommodate 30-80 people. The kids are sure to cooperate during dinner with the promise of free ice cream! Yep! Cafe Del Rio treats the kids with free sweet ice cream after dinner. There’s also a great patio and often live entertainment.

J. Wilsons is relatively new in town and has already gained pretty big attention for their unique menu items and impeccable attention to detail. The menu items are thoughtful and always very tasty. For brunch, one favorite is the flatbread breakfast pizza topped with egg, homemade sausage and cheese. They also have house made brioche, strawberries topped with a local honey glaze. Another favorite: homemade biscuits and sausage with andouille gravy.

Gator Country, a wildlife and reptile theme park with indoor and outdoor displays and educational sessions about alligators, snakes, and other creatures. Gator County’s “Gator Boys” also put on a show where they handle gators and snakes, which is pretty cool if you’re feeling brave.

On the outskirts of town, you can also visit the Beaumont Botanical Gardens & Warren Loose Conservatory, where hundreds of native plants like orchids, roses, and palm trees can be found in the garden depending on the season. Also located in Tyrrell Park is Cattail Marsh, a 900-acre natural destination that features gorgeous marshes and wildlife including colorful birds, alligators, and turtles. Tyrrell Park is also home to a golf course, equestrian center, and several hiking trails.

Each option offers short and long routes depending on your time frame and preference. Boat rentals and shuttle services are available to help ensure your aquatic journey is a smooth one, and camping permits for Village Creek State Park can be obtained free of charge.
