Dubrovnik is famous for its history and culture. The city is founded in the 11th century or earlier. The City walls had been built between the 13th and 17th centuries and are among the best-preserved medieval defensive structures in Europe. Together with the other two restaurants nearby Mezzanave and Konoba Tabak they are located in the same area within 150 meters radius right in the middle of the City where many local people work. Local people are their main guests and their food is a mixture of traditional, Mediterranean and continental and their prices are below average. They are not top class. They are very solid good, kind of places for everyday visits. They also do, Monday to Friday, meals for local people working in the area during lunch break. These are traditional meals, popularly priced which are not listed on the Main Menu but on blackboards outside these places in Croatian. Waiters speak English and they will explain the meals on offer. Don't be late because they serve these meals until 1 PM. Top-class food experience is offered in restaurants "Posat" and "Nautika" located near the western entrance to the Old City - Pile Gate and "360" in the Old City.
