The lighthouse is a great restaurant on the water. However, if you do not have a boat or jet ski it may not be what you are looking for. Less than a 10 min drive by boat or an hour and 13 minutes by car.

Nice restaurant and winery. They offer great wine tastings and they even offer food and wine pairings. I would call ahead of time for a reservation.

This is one of the newer restaurants in Lago Vista. They offer great authentic Mexican food and yes they offer frozen Margaritas!! They are located in the Lowes shopping center near 1431.

If you are looking for a restaurant on the water Captain Petes is a great place to check out. It is about a 20 minute drive from the island. This cool place is known for the GIANT CATFISH that you can feed from your outdoor table :) It's a fun experience.

A lot of people say the food isn't exactly worth the price but- it is the views that you are paying for. If you have never been it is worth checking out.

This is a cool Hiking Trail or if you want to just have a pic-nic with an incredible view this is a secret spot that s worth checking out. If you do not plan on hiking- just know that half way up the road turns into gravel and I wouldn't recommend taking a little car. If you have a truck or vehicle you don't mind semi-off roading with then this spot might be for you!

Also the owner is super helpful and usually has most of your last minute needs on hand. I would ask if they have what you are looking for before making a trip into town :)
