A local favorite is a sunset picnic at Font's Point which is about 20 min from Anza Haus. Grab some chips or your favorite brew and enjoy the view! The last 4 miles are sandy and can be loose, 4wd is recommended.

There are lots of slot canyons all over Borrego. The easiest to get to with 2WD is called "Slot Canyon Trail" which can be easily found on Google Maps. This short 1 mile loop has some steep sections to get down into the canyon. Kids love this one!

Located on the North West end of the park, Coyote Canyon offers supreme flora and creek crossings. Drive this road to visit the Santa Catarina Monument or hike Alcoholics Pass which is where the rams go to have their lambs. Excellent views very close to town.
