Theatre & Performances
A member of ASTRO (the association of summer theatres 'round Ontario) Globus Theatre produces professional summer theatre at the Lakeview Arts Barn just outside Bobcaygeon. They present a wide variety of productions, including comedies, dramas, musicals, "one-nighters" featuring some of Canada's hottest show and comedy acts, and children's shows featuring music, magic and puppetry.
Should you wish to dine at LAB prior to any performance, please note reservations are required.

Sightseeing
Such a quaint and lovely place to visit! Open May 1- September 31 each year, Kawartha Settlers Village boasts over 20 historic homes and buildings from the Bobcaygeon and Kawartha Lakes area. Set on nine acres of the original Murphy farm, you will find the original barn, the general store, the Fairbairn Church, one room school house, fire hall, and more.
A wide variety of arts and crafts programs is offered for both children and adults.
A wonderful place to pack a picnic and spend the day. Check website for info on Move Nights in the barn or added special events, such as antique car shows or Christmas Festival of Trees.
(Side note: we attended a summer wedding here and it was beautiful and so quaint!)
