Primarily an art gallery, the extension was designed by home grown famous Torontonians and American architect Frank Gehry (the one who couples up a piece of paper and turns it into a building design in an episode of the Simpsons). The exterior is extremely understated for a Gehry building, but the interior is done extremely elegantly with spiraling wood staircases.

A primeraly residential condo neighborhood, this is the West's answer to the distillery district in the East. This neighborhood also consists of factories converted into housing, shops, and offices. There are also a lot of local restaurants. It is a great neighborhood to walk through of you are heading north west to little Italy or little Portugal.
