Mia's is a fun, eclectic, casual dining experience. We are not fancy, but our food is fantastic. Sit in our main dining room and watch pizzas being hand-tossed and fired in our brick pizza oven, choose to sit just off the dining room at a table that seats up to twelve and is reminiscent of an Italian grandmother's kitchen table, or enjoy our seasonal outdoor patio .
Our menu is a blend of old- world Italian along with contemporary American and southwestern flavors. We have many traditional Italian entrees such as brick-oven Margherita Pizza, Pasta Puttanesca, Chicken Saltimbocca and Fresh Pasta specials daily. Some of our more diverse entrees include Pear Manchego salad and brick-oven Jambalaya Pizza. Begin your meal with Polenta Frito served with a fire-roasted tomato sauce, crispy onions and crumbled feta cheese or our homemade French Onion Soup. Don't forget to save room for traditional Spumoni ice cream or classic Italian Tiramisu.
Our items range in price, but you will find every entrée under $22.

So a few things have change at The Rock since Covid19. We built a steel pavilion for outdoor dining. We only used 2 tables for inside dining during the pandemic. Because of limited staff and less contact, we have QR codes on our tables. You can find a clean table, seat yourself, use a full size menu (if you like). Scan the QR Code to place your order. A Staff member will deliver your food and drinks to your table. If you require assistance with QR codes, ask an employee, we can help. We have been hiring 15 and 16 year old. Please be kind and patient, this is there first job, we are working with them. We appreciate our staff that comes to work everyday through all of this. We also appreciate our rock family and friends that have kept us in business through all of this.
If you do not feel comfortable using QR Codes, find a table, remember your table number, come inside and place your order with the bartender. Our staff will deliver your food and drinks.
After placing your order, please do not move tables. If you need to move to another table, please let our staff know so we now where to deliver your food.
By changing to this method of service, we are able to stay open 7 days a week. Problems with the food chain, food costs have dramatically increased. Moving to this model we have not raised our prices. Our prices are less than our competitors due to table service. We are a pub, fun and casual. Come and enjoy our place. With throwback charm and a treasure trove of historic artifacts, Columbia State Historic Park presents the Gold Rush in living, breathing color. Costumed docents do more than lead tours of this carefully preserved mother lode town in Tuolumne County—the state’s second largest city at the peak of the Gold Rush; they actually live and work here in a variety of period-appropriate shops and trades. Catch a ride on an authentic stagecoach (dogs welcome), order a cold, locally made sarsaparilla soda in a Western-style saloon, or feel the heat in a working blacksmith's forge. There’s also a Wells Fargo express office and other relics of California's early mining days. The town even sounds authentic—no cars are allowed here, though you will hear the clip-clop of horses.
Free historical tours of the park depart from the museum weekends at 11 a.m. (weekdays too, mid-June until Labor Day). Gold Rush Days take place in the afternoon of the second Saturday of each month; costumed docents lead hands-on crafts and special tours, and kids can try gold-panning.
