This is the best ceviche restaurant in town. Be aware, it's a locals place. This means, there will not be a menu in English, no touristy prices, and the restaurant may not look like much. But be surprised for a culinary experience like no other ! This is the true essence of North Peruvian seafood. Enjoy ! We recommend a couple of cold Pilsen Trujillo beers on the side :)

Take the local tuk-tuks
You will find the local tuk-tuk drivers parking right behind our property. For a modest fee you will be able to go to the beaches in Máncora, Punta Veleros, Organos and to the towns of Los Organos and Máncora within a short drive.

Bring enough sunblock, SPF 50
The solar factor in Peru is extremely high, so we recommend the regular use of high-quality, SPF 50 sunblock during your exposure to the sun, as well as a cap to protect the face and good quality sunglasses.

Sunset Beach Walks
If there is something we always enjoyed on our multiple family trips to our house up north, it was the long beach walks at sunset time. From our place, the shorter variant would be to walk to Los Organos. For a longer stroll, you can go all the way to Máncora ! Watch out for the low and high tides since the high tide will block the passage under the fishermen's dock near Máncora.

A windbreaker or comfortable jacket for windy days
Vichayito can be extremely hot during the day, but tends to get windy in the afternoons. For this reason, it's not a bad idea to have a windbreaker or a comfortable jacket for afternoon walks along the beach.
