19 miles/38 minutes from Aberarth. A spectacular event... Watch up to 150 red kites being fed (2.00 in summer and 3.00 in winter). A great day out. visitor centre, walking trails, horse riding trails, skills park, cafe and lots more. Sitting high in the mountains just inland from Aberystwyth, Bwlch Nant yr Arian boasts long purpose-built single-tracks designed to test experienced riders. Challenging rides like the 22-mile Syfydrin trail serve up spectacular scenery alongside cycling thrills, with dizzying views of the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay.

Things to do
Only 200m from Sunset Lodge.. A good spot for beginners and intermediate surfers. Wave quality is all down to the right conditions as it can range from white water mush to clean over head waves or in some rare cases there has been double over head.
The beach and bottom are a mixture of sand and rock, mainly smooth rocks and stones though so be careful walking out into the swell but you unlikely to hit the bottom even if you bail.
