Beach Day in Mt. Pleasant
From IOP to Sullivan's and inland there is fun, sun, music, food and drink on every corner.
Start the day at Isle of Palms with breakfast at ACME the hit the beach. There is park parking available for a fee. Street parking is tough but free. It is just over 6 miles to the beach. Get an early start during HIGH SEASON as traffic to the beach can be heavy on the weekend.

Move to SI in the afternoon and try to get a burger at Poe's or BBQ at Home Team. Plenty of libations available - Dunleavy's pours a perfect Guinness. Be careful when parking that your tires are not on the pavement or you will get a ticket.

If you aren't too sunbaked head inland to Shem Creek. There are places on both sides up and down the creek to eat and drink. Most places will have some form of live music playing at some point during the day and night. Red's and Vickery's are local favorites. Tavern and Table is good food. Saltwater Cowboy is a scene - great people watching. If you are lucky the dolphins will make and appearance.
