A visita ao Núcleo Museológico Rota da Cal é composta por um trajeto pedestre que leva cerca de 30 minutos, desde as pedreiras de extração calcária até ao Museu. Este era o trajeto percorrido pelos trabalhadores do forno da cal, há muitos anos atrás, no transporte da lenha, calcário e água para o forno de cal. Podem ainda ver fósseis com mais de 5 milhões de anos.
