RiNo is an up and coming neighborhood in Denver. This neighborhood is a great place for a casual walk during the day, hopping around to different breweries, or grabbing a bite to eat.
Some of our favorite bars include:

- Improper City - large bar / brewery with great outdoor space and food trucks
Our favorite restaurants include:
- Hop Alley - great Asian fusion with a hip-hop vibe - try the Duck rolls!
- Dio Mio - great Italian / pasta
- Mister Oso - casual spot for a cocktail, tacos, and tapas
- Safta - located in the Source hotel, this is a great spot for Israeli / Mediterranean food - make a reservation in advance!

By far our favorite restaurant, Hop Alley is an Asian fusion restaurant in RiNo. The location fills up quickly, so try to make a reservation 1-2 weeks in advance.
We highly recommend the duck rolls and spicy chicken thighs.

Because our home is located in Sunnyside, you have easy access to the highway and Boulder. Without traffic, Boulder is only a 25 minute drive. We highly recommend taking the trip to check out the shops and restaurants on Pearl Street, or going for a hike in the flatirons!

Estes park is another great road trip from Denver. This is a great day trip spot. A fun town plus amazing locations for hike, Estes Park is right on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Vail is our favorite mountain town and is a short hour and a half drive from Denver (without traffic). During the winter, skiing is the main attraction, but Vail is also home to great hikes and activities in town during the Summer, Spring, and Fall seasons.
We love the Booth Falls hike - moderate / easy hike that takes about 2-3 hours with a great waterfall view at the end!
In town, we love MTN Standard and Thai Basil for dinner!

Breckinridge is another great option for a day trip, as it is only a 1.5 hour drive without traffic. There is great skiing and hiking in Breck, but the town is also home to great restaurants and bars.

Denver is fairly spread out, but each neighborhood is very walkable. Walking, Driving, Bikes and Scooters are the best way to get around.
Denver does also have a light rail system that you can access - Union Station is the closest stop from our home.
