My favourite spots for drinks in Madrid.
[Tried + Tested] Areia is a casual, chillout cocktail bar on Hortaleza. It's in the heart of the nightlife scene in and around Alonso Martínez and Chueca.
They have some decent cocktails and long drinks. Great spot to kick off a night out in Madrid.

[Tried + Tested] At Óscar they have a great rooftop terrace with a stunning view overlooking central Madrid. Go for an evening of cocktails with some friends or by yourself to soak in the spectacular sunset views.
It's located near Chueca and Gran Vía, so there's plenty of bars and clubs in the area. It's in the LGBTQ neighbourhood of Madrid.
At the hotel reception, just ask for the rooftop bar and they'll guide you up with the elevator and stairs.

It's a great spot for a night out on the tiles.

It's a 1min walk down the road from the apartment.

If you like wine, then you must go to Lavinia and try some. It's that simple.

[Tried + Tested] The rooftop bar at the Urban Hotel is a great spot, but so is the street level cocktail bar. Drinks are pricey, but the ambience and cocktails are great.
