Sloans Lake and all the fun that west Highlands can bring! Take a walk around the lake (about 2 miles around) and see the view of downtown to the east. Stop half way around at Joyride Brewery for a beer. Hogshead Brewery is also close, just up on 29th and Utica. The best place for breakfast has to be Ruperts. Great views of the lake and downtown and the food is epic! Also check out LeRoys Bagels for a delicious quick bite. There are tons of amazing restaurants, bars and shops along 32nd Ave between Irving and Perry (and a few beyond!) Fun Bar: Three Dogs Tavern, dangerously close to Tacos Tequila & Whiskey..... Check out Tacos, Tequila & Whiskey for some of the most unique bites and delicious craft cocktails and margaritas you'll ever devour. If you don't love the Cilantro-cello, you might not truly be alive ;) Pizzeria Locale is an aweome quick and delicious pizza option. Have a bit more time....you will NEVER regret visiting Blue Pan Pizza up the street a bit....it is truly something to write home about. Slightly North on Tennyson & 35th is my personal favorite pizza spot, NY Pizza Pub. Order the spicy for take-out and you'll can thank me later :) Back to 32nd AVE..... Sera's Ramen Enclave....mmmmm....Ramen! Try it, you won't regret it :) Fire On The Mountain has the best wings you'll ever eat as well as some crazy tasty sandwiches! El Camino for some legit Mexican flavors, ridiculous queso and margaritas! CupBop is great for some quick Korean flavors! Want to cook at home....check out Seafood Landing for the freshest seafood options to bring home and make your own. Locally owned & operated, they know their seafood! Sweet tooth?! Check out Sweet Cow along 32nd Ave for free samples and anything else made with cream to fit your taste.
