The church was built on the remains of an early Christian church at the turn of the 13th century. It is the most significant church, not only in the area and on the island, but in Croatia, as the famous and invaluable Baška Tablet from the year 1100 was found there. The church houses a copy of the original tablet.
The main altar is decorated with a wooden polyptych, the work of masters Luke and John, sons of Paolo Veneziano, from the 14th century. The original polyptych is kept in the bishop’s residence in Krk.

Over 400 m2 of the facility above the sea is located at the start of the ski lift, with a restaurant, board shop and sunbathing terrace, so the majority of visitors spend entire days here enjoying the relaxing summer atmosphere. You can rent all the necessary equipment here, chose the “time” or “circles” ticket, and the help of an experienced instructor is included in the price.

Biserujka Cave is located on the island of Krk 300 meters north-west of the Rudine village. The cave is adjusted to tourists and offers a wealth of cave decorations - calcareous sinters, stalagmites, and stalactites. According to a speleological classification, it represents a simple cave with mouth that lead into a gently sloping cave channel. Its underground areas include: Mouth, Balcony, Shaft, Great Hall, Northern Channel, Arched Hall and Cypress Hall.
