here in Mexico, especially the Riviera Maya, the tap water is not potable! AVOID DRINKING IT UNLESS SPECIFIED!

ALWAYS AGREE ON THE PRICE WITH THE TAXIS
Make sure you always established the fare before you start driving away with the taxi drivers, they tend to overcharge people, especially tourists who don't speak spanish!

Unfortunately the public transport of Cancun is not nearly enough for the amount of tourism. Taxi can be quite pricey, so make sure you always agree on the fare. UBER does not work at the HOTEL ZONE AND AIRPORT
