Cafe Hagen is a Scandinavian cafe just a 15min walk away from the townhome! I love their flaky croissants and lattes. Dare I say they have the best lavender lattes? They make all of their syrups in-house, you’ll find unique drinks every season! Cafe Hagen has 3 locations in total, all fairly close by.

Storyville is located in Pike Place Market upstairs. I find the environment whimsical and their mugs are iconic. I enjoy ordering a mocha and a slice of cake here!

I absolutely love this place! It’s not your typical Starbucks. Every drink is of high quality and I’m always left satisfied. I enjoy ordering the hazelnut bianco latte and their cold brew flights. If you’re not feeling coffee, may I suggest a cocktail by the in-house mixologist? In addition to their drinks, I find their pastries and cakes delightful. I recommend pairing a slice of cake and a cup of coffee. There are two locations in Seattle - one on Pike Street (bigger) and one near the Starbucks HQ (has parking for up to 2 hours).

Moore Coffee is a cute little coffee shop that serves delicious lattes with exquisite latte art. I appreciate their unique flavors (taro and matcha) as well as their mochas. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, I recommend ordering their waffles as well!

I come here for hot coffee and their banh mis (with a modern twist. My favorite is the hot Bac Xiu with egg cream and the An Sang Banh Mi with extra pate. It’s so good!

They roast their own coffee beans and are known to elevate traditional egg coffees. I come here for hot coffee and their banh mis (with a modern twist. My favorite is the hot Bac Xiu with egg cream and the An Sang Banh Mi with extra pate. It’s so good!
Aroom is a brand new Vietnamese coffee shop near the Wallingford neighborhood. I find their menu items unique and different from others. I love their black sesame latte! It’s nutty, creamy, and very satisfying!

I discovered this while roaming the residential Madison Park neighborhood. This is a lovely hidden gem of a boutique cafe. They serve great pastries and seasonal drinks. Being a mocha fan, I particularly enjoy their velvety mocha!

I frequent Dote when I decide to "work from home" at a cafe. They make homemade ganaches and have delicious savory pastries. I particularly enjoy their tomato basil scone - because it tastes just like pizza when heated up!

Okay, so this isn't quite a "coffee" place but it deserves an honorable mention. Matcha Man is a local cafe serving delicious Asian inspired desserts. Less than a year ago, they rolled out a menu of matcha-based drinks and it's ALL delicious. If coffee isn't your thing, maybe matcha tea is! :)
