Head to Sumner Park probably the quickest way onto the walk along Merri Creek from our place. Great wooden climbing playground across the bridge for kids! (it’s called Merri Park on map) And another great playground on the city side of the trial too (called Kirkland Park) you can reach quicker by walking straight down the End of King St (rather than turning for Summer Park)

The place to find hipsters having a picnic and beer and wine on a sunny Saturday or Sunday. Also tennis court, lawn bowls and local footy ground which was home to the now defunct Fitzroy Football Club.
