Here you'll find the Kebbel Wetland is a beautiful and well-maintained loop, truly a gem for birders and naturalists alike.
Start from the parking lot near the Sparta Line bridge over Catfish Creek. The trail follows the creek to the Yarmouth Natural Heritage area. It loops around the wetlands on a mostly wide dirt path.
Fun Fact!! Our family farm is adjacent and a recent donation to the conservation from our family allowed this wetland to be enjoyed by everyone!!

Aylmer is a quaint town of 7000. There is a cute museum and some beautiful conservation areas with hiking trails all great for families. We are only only short 10-15 min drive to Port Bruce a natural beach on Lake Erie. Keep an eye out for the horse and buggy hitch parking spots around town. We have an Amish community here!
Good thing to know is that most things close early around here. So check the times before you head out!! Even McDonald's closes at 9 on weeknights and 10 on weekends!!

Aylmer is a quaint town of 7000. There is a cute museum and some beautiful conservation areas with hiking trails all great for families. We are only only short 10-15 min drive to Port Bruce a natural beach on Lake Erie. Keep an eye out for the horse and buggy hitch parking spots around town. We have an Amish community here!
