So cool...have been several times & always find something new when we visit again with out of town guests. The way the west was...all displayed in real buildings from the past...it's a little trek but well worth the drive. Check the times before you go.

About 20 minutes West of Yuma on I8...must see! If you don't have a 4 wheel drive then stay on the road (you will get stuck otherwise). Gorgeous sand dunes...must take pics!

I literally see tour busses parked at the fairgrounds w/ people holding giant cameras every day during the winter across from MCAS Yuma...why? Because it is super cool to see the aircraft flying in & taking off at MCAS Yuma...super cool & fun to photograph. You cannot get on base without an escort & even if you have an escort you have to check in with military police at gate prior to entering...you can see it all from across 32nd street while you are parked on the side of the road.

A long time Bard, California resident who began the collection in 1989. The collection includes cars, trucks, tractors, power tools, hand tools, household equipment, boat engines, wheels, items from local businesses including the old Bard Post Office, plus many more items too numerous to mention. The collection is vast, overwhelming, well organized, and incredibly impressive.
The museum is open 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm except in the hottest summer months. There is a caretaker on the property when Johnny himself isn’t there. Cost of admission is a bargain price of $10.

YGCC is a private club for golf but you can eat at the bar area without being a member. Quiet dining & good food. They also serve brunch on weekends. Beautiful views on patio - you can enjoy a cocktail & watch the golfers.
