Nature & Adventure

A drive to Avola Antica ends at a natural reserve: Cava Grande. From there you can hike down to the natural lakes of Cava Grande and take a bath in ice cold pure cristal clear water. The hike is steep (ca 1hr) so be careful if you do it in the summer. Bring lots of drinking water, something to eat. There's no opportunity to buy anything once you're down there.!

This beach can not directly be reached by car. There is no bar at the beach. Consequently it is always a little less crowded than some of the beaches (Lido di Avola or Lido di Noto). The water is clear, people are chill and the sand is smooth.
