Krog Street Market is a food hall with a handful of non-food shops. Going there to eat is like taking a tour around the world of some of the best foods out there...Middle Eastern, American (new), Korean, Vietnamese, Italian, Japanese, American (southern), Mexican...you get the idea. They also have an epic bakery (Little Tart), wine/beer bar that's attached a shop (Hop City Craft Beer and Wine) so you can buy more of whatever you enjoyed from the tap, and more. It's so worth it. Go check this place out.

This was the last coffee shop we ventured into in Atlanta, and yes, we went to A LOT. It is also one of the best coffee shops intown and we wished we found it sooner! We heard a rumor that there's also beer there. Which means they might also have wine. Just sayin'. Oh, and their food is delicious and exactly what you'd expect to find at a coffee shop!

480 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NEThis was the last coffee shop we ventured into in Atlanta, and yes, we went to A LOT. It is also one of the best coffee shops intown and we wished we found it sooner! We heard a rumor that there's also beer there. Which means they might also have wine. Just sayin'. Oh, and their food is delicious and exactly what you'd expect to find at a coffee shop!
Let me first say, the hours they keep are strange BUT it is well worth it to find a way to be hungry when they're open! It's small, it's got an authentic Cuban vibe, and the proprietor's story as to why she opened this delectable neighborhood sandwich/salad/smoothie/sweet tooth spot is well worth the ask when you get there.

When your best friend growing up is from Italy and you ate authentic, incredible meals at their house all the time , such as fresh homemade pasta with sauce made from whatever was ripe in the backyard garden, believe me you're picky about Italian. This however makes the cut. Try the chef's 4-course tasting menu...it's so good you may forget to socialize with whoever you're sitting with!

They have a fabulous pet-friendly outdoor space right on the BeltLine and the people-watching during warm months is worth it whether you're having an adult beverage or not. They also have games both inside and outside which is a lot of fun too.

684 John Wesley Dobbs Ave NEThey have a fabulous pet-friendly outdoor space right on the BeltLine and the people-watching during warm months is worth it whether you're having an adult beverage or not. They also have games both inside and outside which is a lot of fun too.
Sightseeing
Go during the day so you can appreciate the street art. The city's ok with it and we think that's pretty awesome. On any given day you may find people creating art on the walls, holding photo shoots, directing music videos, or just taking selfies with their friends/family. If you head to Wylie St SE just south of Krog Street Tunnel you'll find even more street art that will absolutely blow your mind.

The Eastside BeltLine Trail is a scenic walking path through the most popular intown neighborhoods. Whether you want to walk it or rent a bicycle or scooter to check it out, it's truly the best way to get a sense of Atlanta's vibe. There's outdoor sculptures and artwork, musicians performing, parks, food, name it and you'll find it on or just off the BeltLine. The trail goes on for miles so don't be fooled by the marker they use on the map. Get some Vitamin D in your life and enjoy being outside for a bit!
