Beautiful view of New York City from across the river and a really nice place to catch a breeze and fresh air. Hamilton Park in Jersey City is closer to here and also nice but there is no view like the one at Liberty State Park. Newport Mall and Exchange place area is close to here and offer a cool outdoor park experience as well.

Everyone love Macy's. You can also walk down 5th Avenue, or head over to the East and/or West Village area. Soho is also a great place to shop. Totally depend on your pockets. If you wanted to shop here in Jersey City the Newport Mall is only 2 stops from the house. It's wonderful. No sales tax in NJ

One of the best grocery stores in Shop Rite but there are a few others as well. Shop Rite is one train stop away. However, there is one within walking distance from the house and it's called C -town. I go to Shop Rite for the larger shopping list and to C-town near home to grab a few quick things.
