Val Verde Winery is the oldest licensed winery in the state of Texas owned and operated by the Qualia family. The wines produced in this area have won numerous awards. Wine tasting is available every day at a modest price and local wines, olive oil and products may be purchased! Perfect for a picnic! The winery backs up to La Casita Cha Cha and the entrance is a short walk down the street!

Historical Del Rio building and grounds is home to the ‘museum’. Local events and holidays are often celebrated here. The many exhibits on the grounds depict the unique history of the City of Del Rio and Val Verde County. Judge Roy Bean, Langtry Texas’ Law west of the Pecos, is buried on the property, at a replica of his saloon, ‘The Jersey Lilly’ named for the famed star of the times.

Historical Del Rio building and grounds is home to the ‘museum’. Local events and holidays are often celebrated here.
