Downtown Kenosha has two Farmer's Markets on Saturdays.
Year-round is the Kenosha Public Market. Off-season it is housed in The Vault at 625 57th Street, right around the corner from the Airbnb. It goes outdoors starting in May.
The Harbor Market is a seasonal market starting in May and is held by the Kenosha Museum on 2nd Avenue.
Both have produce, food vendors and food products.

Kenosha lakeshore and beaches!
Did you know Kenosha has four public beaches. The closest one to the Airbnb is Eichelman Park and is definitely walking distance. This little cove of Lake Michigan is shallow and easy to get to. The walking path connecting the Allendale neighborhood goes all the way to the Harborpark area and the Sculpture Walk.
Southport Park is the most southern beach and has a trail into the Kenosha Sand Dunes.
Simmons Island is close but a good hike. It's very big and very shallow and is very popular for swimming.
Pennoyer Park is the furthest north. Tennis courts are here. No beaches have guards.

Lake Michigan is one of Kenosha’s greatest assets! Please enjoy it but stay away from the Pike River entry to Lake Michigan. The currents are very strong there and there have been some drownings. This entry is on the north end of Pennoyer Beach. Also note the beaches do not have lifeguards.
