The most famous place to se Nordic animals like wolves, elks, lynx, owls and grey seals. Also a tropical house with cool monkeys and "Lill-Skansen" with kittens, guinea pigs, rabbits and more.
And you can se old houses to get a picture of how Swedes lived some hundred years ago.
Out door museum. Use good walking shoes!

I do recommend it in the summertime, if you want to experience the beauty of true Swedish outdoor life.

SL buss 428 och 429 from Slussen to Björkvik. Get off at the stop "Björnö naturreservat", then walk for about a kilometer.
By car
Drive Värmdöleden väg 222, exit to Gustavsberg and Ingarö.

On Ringvägen, just after the grocery store Ica, you find bus number 4. If you cross the street (through the tunnel if you prefer) the number four takes you to Slussen where you find boats to the archipelago and commuter boats for shorter trips to places like Djurgården and amusement park Gröna Lund.
If you take bus 57 on Grindsgatan, you get around almost anywhere. Great if you want to se a bit of Stockholm from the window without paying for expensive tourist trips.
