Margaritaville at Lanier Islands is the ultimate lakeside paradise where you can escape the everyday, in summer or winter. You'll find your favorite thrills and chills on our beaches, on the water, at the Water Park, or while enjoying our lakefront entertainment and recreation. Margaritaville at Lanier Islands has a great selection of restaurants, tiki bars, and walk-up food and drink concessions – all to put you in that Margaritaville state of mind. LandShark Bar & Grill at LandShark Landing is a great place to gather for drinks and dinner, stick your toes in the sand, or hang out around the fire pit. There's entertainment on the weekend, and we have your favorite brews, boat drinks, and outstanding food. The Port of Indecision Marina is now reserving annual and seasonal leases for 32' to 40' covered boat slips, and 18’ to 36’ dry stack storage boat slips (coming Spring 2021), so you can jump in and hit the lake upon arrival and make the most of your lake time. In addition to the new year-round marina, there are day docks at LandShark Landing for guests who boat in for the day, boat rentals, yacht charters, and specialty cruises to get you out on the water. City/town information

The tiny Georgia mountain town (population: 582) resurrected itself in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a quaint re-creation of a traditional Bavarian village, providing a taste of the Alps in the foothills of the Appalachians. Set along the beautiful banks of the Chattahoochee River, the town attracts outdoor enthusiasts with its river tubing, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, hiking, and other activities. But arguably the biggest sport in Downtown Helen is shopping, with more than 200 import and specialty shops selling everything from German food (you can’t swing a stick without hitting a schnitzel or wurst) and cuckoo clocks to homemade candles, fudge, and Southern-style arts and crafts. Autumn is the busiest time of the year here, with their immensely popular Oktoberfest festival lasting from mid-September through the end of October. But there are lots of great activities and attractions in Helen to explore all year round.
