The Best Beaches
Sandy Beach is located here in Tahoe Vista, CA, within walking distance (0.4 mi.) of the Vistana. It is more private-feeling than the larger public beaches, and there is some street parking (popular in the summer) near the entrance to the beach.
Sandy Beach (N Lake Blvd) is searchable in Google Maps - turn left from the property and cross at the 2nd cross walk (past Mourelatos). It is a treed entrance to the beach, and there will be a sign with visitor information.
**PLEASE NOTE: This beach is not dog-friendly. See Waterman's Landing and the other Carnelian Bay beaches for nearby dog-friendly options. ;)
