Turtles is very close to the house and has a very easy 'all american' menu. It's easy & close, kid friendly and priced fairly reasonably. I don't think Turtles is anything special in terms of it's menu but for convenience and location it's great. There is both a restaurant and a bar (The Loft) but you can get drinks and food in both places. We often go to the Loft for a quick drink and small bite with friends if our goal is to have drinks or a burger.

Pacific Rim - top notch - consistently well done. Usually a wait but you can put your name in here and go have a glass of wine at the Broadway and the wait staff will come get you when your table is ready.

One of my all time favorite Eugene spots. Pack a picnic and head out for an afternoon or evening of excellent wine, friendly atmosphere and lovely view. They have cheese plates and often a food vendor is set up on weekends.
