This is one of the best walks in the area. It takes in views of the surrounding valleys and passes a few rivers, streams and waterfalls. The viewpoint and waterfall at the top of Pen Pych is one of the best in the Rhondda.

Probably the liveliest pub in Treorchy. Offers both food and drinks at reasonable prices. Has outdoor seating at roadside but also has a lodge style outdoor heated seating area to the rear of pub. Great for a good night out or casual meal.
