My recommendations for shopping in the area.
Lennox Square Mall is one of the best places to shop in the city. It's also the home of one of my favorite restaurants, Cheesecake factory. Definitely a must visit if you have some extra cash to spend.

Atlantic station is one of the places I always recommend to families traveling into Atlanta. In my opinion it's one of the best places to go if you're looking for an all-in-one place to go. Atlantic station feels very much like a small town unto itself. It has numerous shops, a grocery store, various fast-casual restaurants and a huge IMAX theater.

Food scene
If you're a BBQ rib lover like me, you have to visit Fat Matt's Rib Shack. Not only do they have some of the best ribs and BBQ sauce in the city, but their Mac & Cheese and Collard greens are some of the best I've ever eaten at a restaurant.

Finding a good place to eat after 10pm can seem impossible at times. Especially if you're not feeling the club scene for the night. Mama's is my favorite go to place for late night dining. Not only does it have a 24 Hour drive through but it also has some exceptional food choices. Their fish and shrimp tacos and quesadillas are INCREDIBLE! You can expect long lines ordering through drive thru but trust me..... It's worth the wait.

1001 Piedmont Ave NEIf you're looking for a good breakfast restaurant to visit in the area, Flying Biscuit is most definitely one of the best. It has a great atmosphere and the food is great. The grits here are HEAVENLY! I always order a shrimp & grit bowl when I visit.
If you can't tell, I am a southern food lover at heart and there is nothing more fulfilling than eating a good, soulful breakfast in the morning. This restaurant is by far my FAVORITE breakfast food in Atlanta. Plus, everything on the menu is under $12. Absolute most bang for your buck! If you don't mind the 20 minute drive from Buckhead this is a must visit.

Next to Southern cuisine, Italian one of my favorite foods to eat. There are a lot of Italian food options in the area but Maggiano's is definitely one of the best. I've been visiting this restaurant since I was a child and the food + vibe is always to tier.

Mary Mac's is not only a favorite of mine but it's also a local favorite. As a southern food lover, I've eaten a lot of fried chicken and I must say the chicken here is definitely one of the best in the city.
