The village of Arroyo Grande is very akin to Mayberry RFD. Park and walk - great restaurants, fun shops, roosters in the park, swinging bridge, ice cream lab! Ten minute drive from Olive Tree Cottages, they have parking behind most shops.

Hands down, the best restaurant on the central coast. Make reservations - expensive and absolutely worth it. Their chef is top notch and the pastry chef is superb!

FAVORITE breakfast spot - ocean side patio, terrific waffles (sweet or savory), tacos, smoothies, coffee, and beer on draught. This is worth the drive (be sure to check instagram for hours - sometimes closed T-W).
