You'll think you're at Pebble Beach in California with the expansive views of the course and, beyond it, Lake Michigan. Dinner will give you a magnificent sunset to enjoy as well as the bagpiper who ends each day. The menu is first rate (and pricey!) and sitting out by the 18th hole in one of the adirondack chairs after you eat can't be beat. Make a reservation and ask to be either on the patio or close to the window.

Don't miss these experiences in Manistee
If you're new to Manistee, or even if you're a return visitor, you owe it to yourself to take the one-hour Manistee Trolley Tour. It runs during the summer months and you can walk to where it begins at 180 Memorial Drive, close to the river.
You'll go through neighborhoods and drive thru the 5th Avenue and 1st Avenue beachfronts. You'll see historic and beautiful homes and learn fascinating stories from your guide about the unique history of the Victorian Port City. There is a fee but it's reasonable. You'll appreciate your visit much more after you've done the tour!
