The car is the best way to get around the area

The car offers a lot of comfort and speed to move, and a must to arrive to the best beaches of Cap de Creus. However, with the train it is easy to reach the coastal cities of Llançá, Colera, PortBou or the capital, Figueres, without worrying about finding parking or getting lost.

Sant Pere de Rodes monastery is a must

Just 9.7 km from Gelamà is the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. Built on the slope of the Verdera Mountain, just below the Castle of Sant Verdera, it offers exceptional views over the bay of Llançà, to the north of Cap de Creus. Near the monastery Santa Creu de Rodes are the ruins of a medieval town.
