Long point biosphere reserve has been recognized as a Ramsar site and is globally significant important bird area by bird life international. Long point is quite diverse area with beaches, marshes, ponds, meadows and Lakeshore. Long point is 30 minutes or less away from Port burwell, which is quite scenic in itself. if your into canoeing and kayaking make sure to check out big creek starting in port royal, it's considered the Canadian Amazon! If rafting is more your thing, check out Big creek tubing with grand river rafting

our area is #1 in agriculture, this is Ontario's Garden. Norfolk county is the leading grower of asparagus, tart cherries, ginseng, peppers, pumpkins, squash, zucchini, strawberries and other veggies and fruit. it's also home to many wineries, home brew, and distilleries. so many roadside markets to explore!
