This beautiful red sand beach can be visited anytime, but at low tide you can walk for miles searching for sea glass, sand dollars or sea shells. Children will enjoy playing in the wading pools between the sand bars. Visit closer to high tide for the die-hard swimmers.
Kayaking, paddle boarding and even kite boarding are enjoyed here too!
Unlike the National Parks, pets are permitted on this beach (on leash).

Argyle Shore Provincial Park
35 Lucys RdThis beautiful red sand beach can be visited anytime, but at low tide you can walk for miles searching for sea glass, sand dollars or sea shells. Children will enjoy playing in the wading pools between the sand bars. Visit closer to high tide for the die-hard swimmers.
Kayaking, paddle boarding and even kite boarding are enjoyed here too!
Unlike the National Parks, pets are permitted on this beach (on leash).

Summer: Mountain Bikers from all over rave about the quality of the trails at Brookvale. There is something for everyone: beginners, intermediate and advanced . . .
Beginners: The Green Machine and Coastline are trails that will get you hooked on mountain biking!
Intermediate: Bleu Nuit ( with the berms of WD-40), the Coastline - Surf and Turf - Plamu loop
Advanced: the Dark Side and Black Fly will test your technical skills, giving you some great climbs, as well as awesome downhills sections. Crab Trap off Plamu is also a favourite
Winter: The Nordic Site offers fat bike trails, nordic skiing, tubing and snowshoeing. Bike, ski, snowshoe and tube rentals available.
The Alpine Site is PEI's only downhill ski centre. A quad lift will get you to the top in no time, then enjoy a variety of runs, and check out the park for rails and jumps!

Snowmobile Trail
The Stordy House is located adjacent to the PEI Snowmobile trail system that consists of over 900 kms of groomed trail from tip to tip of the Island. Don't worry, the trail is far enough away from the house that you won't be disturbed by the noise of the machines travelling.
However, this does make it an ideal local for sledding enthusiasts!
