Great Happy Hour! Arrive a few minutes before they open and grab a seat at the bar or the front. You can get a dozen oysters for $24 and there are daily drink specials. Oh, and by the way, this is a nationally recognized award winning restaurant

It's divine, it is so good, the community table is fun. This is a top Nashville restaurant. It was featured in Bon Appetite in 2013 as one of America's best new restaurants. And it is still going strong today! You should also check out their sister restaurant Folk in East Nashville.

The customers looked to be enjoying themselves so much. We sat at the bar and had an amazing appetizer and vegetarian main dish. The owner, I believe, is a judge on Chopped.
It looks like a bit of everything, but the brunch looks amazing. Pro-tip, park here and get validated and leave your car in the lot to go wander around town. I see this place on social media of so many visitors to town. The location is wonderful and the campus is intriguing.

The Baguettes are out of this world. We cannot take them back to our car without taking a bite! This is a fantastic bakery and will lead to to an emerging neighborhood in We-Ho (Wedgewood-Houston) or to the Nashville Fairgrounds.

These donuts are simply a must to try. When I go, people are stopping while driving through town just to get these donuts. They experiment with a variety of hand-crafted flavors of donuts, but their standard donut the purist is probably the best. They have a location in The Factory in Franklin if you are out that way, and their original location is in 12 South. The L and L Market in Charlotte is one of my favorite places in West Nashville. It has a fantastic wine bar, a coffee shop, and a history themed craft brewery.

This is the best lesser known brunch in town. When everywhere else has a two hour wait, the Goat usually has a table. The value is incredible, and their Huevos Rancheros is one of my favorite meals in Nashville

Nashville Specialties
There are several locations for Martin's and they all hold up my favorite BBQ place in the Nashville area. However the Beer Garden on Fourth is a great spot to hang out downtown, listen to some music, watch a game, have a drink, and eat great food. My favorite is the brisket, which occasionally too good to describe.

It is a Nashville experience and a feature of a visit to Midtown. Although, the West Nashville location is the one that I go to. Mild is plenty hot, so advance up the heat scale with caution. The banana pudding is amazing, but I would still cross the street in West Nashville to go to Bobby's Dairy Dip. (Get the pudding to go!)

This is my favorite hangout near my place. It has a great casual vibe, stays open late, and does a great job of combining the best aspects of North Nashville and Germantown. Trivia night is super fun....get there early!

It was so favorably reviewed by younger visitors to Nashville that I had to go try it out as a research expedition on behalf of you!

This is a great place to walk in, order a pizza and drink and watch them make your pizza in their fantastic ovens. They have parking so you can go and eat and then drive off, or you can find another way there and walk to Tailgate Brewery or the Patterson House after.

Wonderful food truck food. They will definitely have a restaurant in the near future. They are at the Nashville Farmer's market regularly on the weekends. My favorite dish is their ceviche. I thought I loved this dish before I had theirs. Simply yum!
