Located in Chueca, Angelita bar is tucked secretly below their restaurant, and if you didn't know it was there, you might miss it, which would be a pity.

I was so disappointed that I stumbled upon this place by accident after having lived here for over two years. This place is truly a hidden gem, as its appearance does not shout 'we're pros at mixology!' but subtly hints at the fact that they make bomb cocktail. Stick with the classics here, they really nail them.

Unique ambiance
I could come here just for the decor. It's based on the religion Santeria, based in Cuba with roots in Africa, and includes macabre rituals like animal sacrifice and whatnot. The bar is decorated accordingly, making you feel like you're about to enter some kind of voodoo ritual, plus the menu is full of potions and elixirs rather than cocktails. Definitely a cool ambiance and worth the visit if you want something truly unique. The cocktails are pretty good, however the 'mixologists' list will point you in the direction of the masters of mixology.

Really beautifully decorated retro lounge tucked away in the streets of Lavapies. An unsuspecting location for such an elegant bar. The drinks are pretty good, but the environment is what you would be coming here for primarily.
