Only three blocks from our house these are the BEST wings you will ever taste. Started by two hippies from Boulder - gawd bless 'em - they did it up right. This location has a full bar and brews its own beer. Plenty of delish non-wings items and a faboo back porch for summertime. Usually very full, but never longer than a 20 min wait.

One of Portland's original coffee shops started by...Jim and Patty :). Excellent coffee, yummy breakfast food and goodies, and such a friendly staff - walkable, only about 12 blocks.

If you're up for the trek (about 20 minutes by car) to the SE, you'll be so happy you went. Only about 6 tables this is the freshest sushi you'll ever have. Quaint, and delicious with zero attitude.

A Portland must, but if you can't get in, you can always try their other place, The Mediterranean Exploration Company in the Pearl District. Equally amazing food and atmosphere and they do take reservations.
