Arrival and Check Out

Upon arrival to the RV/Camper, do an inventory of what you will need for the duration of your stay. There will be enough toilet paper, paper towel and soap to get you started. If you only need a few items, you may want to pick them up at the Dollar General Store in Burnside. Most folks need to make a trip the grocery store. The nearest grocery store is located In Somerset, about 18 miles, there you will find a Kroger, Walmart, Aldi, and Save a-lot. Check Out is by 11am. Our cleaning personnel need enough time to get the RV ready for our next guests, so please be considerate. It would be appreciated if you would clean any dishes that you may have used and take out the trash.

Somerset is located on the Northeastern edge of Lake Cumberland just west of the Daniel Boone National Forest, and as you can imagine, is known for its abundance of outdoor recreation including boating, hiking, and even local vineyards offering a different taste of Kentucky.

These are Just a few of my favorite places to eat. Somerset also has your everyday fast food restaurants and steakhouses. I like to point guests in the direction of our small businesses.

Samgöngur

The roads are narrow and curvy. drive with care.

You will need to drive into Somerset for most of your shopping and dining needs. some of the roads are narrow and busy with boaters. I advise to drive slow until you reach the main road.
