A popular breakfast spot. Pancakes obviously being their specialty, I recommend getting red velvet pancakes if you've never had them, or vinha d'alhos (stewed pork) if you're craving something savory.

The closest Chinese food if you don't have a car and are really craving Chinese food. If you're willing to make the trek, there are better places in Chinatown.

My favorite place to get Manapua (otherwise known as buns/bao). They have different fillings such as kalua pig, curry chicken, and sweet ones too. They have pork hash (siu mai) and other dim sum also.

This place has a large food court with lots of options to choose from. There's Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Greek, Japanese, and Filipino food, to name a few. There is also a bakery and some sweets.

The closest Vietnamese food. If you're looking for Pho, their's is decent and consistent. They also have other food such as Thai or stir-fry available if not everyone in your group wants pho.

Unique deep-dish style pizza with fun toppings. The wait is long but if you call your order in ahead of time it is totally worth it. Their garlic cheese balls are a must if you go.

Their ramen is one of my favorites on the island. I love to put extra garlic in. If you're looking to try something different, get their Kotteri ramen, a super thick and rich broth that's like gravy.

There's another location by Ward that just opened. A little pricey but they have a really good broth and a good selection. They also have super spicy ramen and cheese ramen!

My favorite place to get shave ice! It's also a favorite stop of Obama and has been featured on Hawaii 5-0. I like to get mochi balls, ice cream, and condensed milk with my shave ice.

Ko'olina is a great man-made beach for small children. It's a bit of a drive out but the weather is almost always sunny and clear and the wave breakers protect little ones getting used to the water.
