Great for hiking not far from the Lake House; Moose Mountain is also part of the Appalachian Trail (AT) and visible from the Lake House (Northerly direction). Park on 3-Mile Road at the Appalachian Trail Access / Moose Mountain Trailhead for a nice hike up the mountain to the South Peak!
