If you are feeling adventurous, hike up to Ram Head for gorgeous views! No concessions. There is a restroom. No cabs available to/from, however, the VITRAN bus stops and picks up here.

Pirate's Cove is a 5 minute walk from The Marketplace. Here you will find Starfish Market where you can get groceries, drinks, and deli needs. You will also find Chelsea Drug Store for toiletries and beach gear. New to Marketplace in 2023 is a coffee/gelato shop.

Taxi Numbers
The best way to get a taxi is to flag one down at the people ferry dock or in front of Mongoose Junction. You may also have luck flagging one down near Starfish Market. It is not customary to call a taxi and have them pick you up at the apartment. However, here are some numbers if you would like to try getting someone to pick you up.

Directions from Car Ferry to Pirate's Cove
Turn left off the car ferry
Turn right out of the car ferry lot
Turn right at the stop sign at the tennis court
Turn right at the next stop sign
Drive past Starfish Market / St John Marketplace on your left
Shortly after Starfish, there are some dumpsters on your right
Turn right in between the dumpsters and the basketball court
Follow the road around a bend and over a speed bump at the bottom of a hill
Turn into the 4th driveway on the right after the speed bump, then immediately turn left into a flat driveway
This is Pirate’s 🏴☠️ Cove. It is the bottom floor of a light blue house.

Directions from the People Ferry to Pirate's Cove
From downtown head toward the Westin. That means you take route 104 from the traffic circle. It’s a one way road that only leads away from the traffic circle. You will pass The Marketplace/Starfish Market on your left. After that, you turn right in between the dumpsters and the basketball court. Round a bend and go over a speed bump. Head up the hill. We are the 4th driveway on the right after the speed bump. It’s the lower level of a light blue house.
If you have luggage, it’s best to grab a cab because the hill up to Pirate’s Cove is steep.

Pirate's Cove Arrival/Departure
Pirate's Cove is ready for check after 3pm but please let us know if you are arriving earlier- it may be ready sooner. We can always hold your luggage for you if need be.
We typically ask guests to depart at 10am but do ask if you need a later departure. Depending on our cleaning schedule, we may be able to accommodate. And again, we can always hold your luggage for you if need be.
