This is a beautiful spot with panoramic views. The lake is beautiful and calm. It’s a great place for a picnic, take your dog for a walk in the trails or even dip or float in the lake. It’s a beautiful place to go throughout every season.

Grassi Lakes is a 4.3 km hike rated as easy. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. For the best view, I recommend making the loop clockwise. That way you go up the steep stairs instead of down. The end is a beautiful turquoise pond. Please do remember, you are in Bear Country so be Bear Smart.
