Some of the best burgers in town. Not such fast food as those american food processors. Real burgers. Fresh vegetables. Creative tastes. Lovely Nintendo/Sega/Atari themed burger place.

Shopping
Jekta is the largest shopping mall in Tromsø. Here you will find anything and everything you might need, from food & drink to restaurants. There is a sushi bar right beside a food court with many different types of food.
You will find all large clothing stores and some Scandinavian stores as well. Clothing, kitchenware, bookshops, pharmacy, all you need under one roof.

Jekta Storsenter
12 Karlsøyvegen Jekta is the largest shopping mall in Tromsø. Here you will find anything and everything you might need, from food & drink to restaurants. There is a sushi bar right beside a food court with many different types of food.
You will find all large clothing stores and some Scandinavian stores as well. Clothing, kitchenware, bookshops, pharmacy, all you need under one roof.
Pyramiden is another large shopping mall. There are several shops here that offer anything from clothing, outdoor equipment, organic food and essentials, supermarket and bookstores.
They have an open food court with seafood and fast food. Pyramiden is more quiet than Jekta because it is smaller.

Sommarøy means "Summer Island" and it is absolutely, stunningly beautiful. Rough Norwegian mountains and plains meet ocean shore and white beaches with blue sea.
When you go here depends on what you love. You could spend a summer's day on the beach, taking strolls in the sand, hiking in the surrounding countryside or even swimming! If you prefer the temperament of the ocean, visit Sommarøy on a stormy day and watch the waves beating on the shoreline with all their might.
Sommarøy is about around 50 minutes driving from Tromsø city center. There are busses, but not frequently. We advise renting a car for a day if you wish to visit Sommarøy. You could combine this with other places.
