Enjoy a tranquil walk through ancient woodland down to this quiet cove. Approximately a 15 min walk from Beach Retreat. This beach remains quiet even in the summer due to it being off the beaten track with no parking. Look out for the beautiful waterfall and children will love the rope swings. Enjoy!

This place is brilliant - you will love it. lots of indoor slides for a rainy day, as well as outdoor slides and bubble pools on a hot day. About a 45 min drive. Book online in advance as it's very popular.

This is my little boys favourite place to visit. Buy a bag of animal food and the children can run wild and let off steam here. Lots of friendly animals to feed, a play area and a great cafe. Beautiful views and a great cafe. It's really easy to spend a whole day here.

This pub is a lot nicer than these photos suggest. Very cosy and friendly, they serve great value tasty meals. And you can get meals to take out too.

Something for the kids to see when the weather isn't great. On a sunny day enjoy an ice cream on the beach - we reckon they are the best in the area! The crab sandwiches and jacket potatoes are highly recommended too.
