Pool
This is the closest pool that guests can use.
Directions: Going up the mountain on Wintergreen Drive past the Mountain Inn and the Founders' Overlook, turn right on Blue Ridge Drive and past the condos to Timber Camp Drive, turn right. The swimming pool and pavilion is on the right.
WPOA's Chestnut Springs pool and pavilion site is located on Wintergreen mountain on Timber Camp Drive. It is open to all property owners and their guests. Property owners should show their pool pass at the pools when checking in. Guests of property owners must show their guests pool passes when checking in.
Since it can be cool on the mountain even in the summer, the Chestnut Springs pool is heated. Summer pool hours are typically 10 am to 6 pm Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pools are closed every day between 9 am to 10 am for daily maintenance and Thursday from 8 pm to Friday 10 am for maintenance.
In 2020, the Chestnut Springs park area offered high-speed wifi to guests around the swimming pool.
Each property owner and their guest needs a WPOA pool pass upon entry to the Chestnut Springs pool.

The park includes a children's playground and pool, a tennis and pickleball court, and an adult horseshoe setup. The Wintergreen Sporting Club maintains an archery range here as well that residents are welcome to use. There is also an attractive pond for fishing. There is an LP-gas grill at the pavilion ready to use.

Off the resort and about a 15–20-minute drive is Nelson 151. There are several restaurants/breweries/wineries and a distillery along Route 151. There are local companies that will provide transportation for a fee.

Ridgely's Fun Park
Weather permitting, Ridgely's Fun Park is open winter weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays only, December through February. Check This Week at Wintergreen for current hours of operation.
Families with small children can discover all the winter excitement they need at Ridgely's Fun Park. This family-friendly setting at Discovery Ridge is the perfect location for children to play in the snow, just like you did as a child. You'll find bear paw snow shoes, plus a gentle hill for tubing - and the ride back up the hill might be more fun than the ride down!
