Hotel on the Cay where Protestant Cay is located ferry operates roughly every 10 minutes from 7:00 am until 12 midnights. The pick-up point is right in front of the King Christian hotel. If you are not a hotel guest, there is a nominal $5 charge per roundtrip that is payable in our Dock house upon arrival. All-day access to beach chairs costs $5.00, Umbrellas $10.00, and cabanas $20.00.

Sit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset , swim along the shoreline, sit and have a picnic, watch the fishermen, sailboats, and catamarans pass by, or walk, jog around the roadway.

There are 3 stunning beaches located within The Buccaneer Hotel property. Since all beaches on St. Croix are open to the public by law, you can enjoy these beaches even if you are not a guest at The Buccaneer. Once you enter The Buccaneer’s property, go straight to the guard gate and the guard on duty will instruct you on where to park. The beaches at The Buccaneer generally offer plenty of parking nearby, restrooms, restaurants, bars, and freshwater rinse stations.

There are 3 stunning beaches located within The Buccaneer Hotel property. Since all beaches on St. Croix are open to the public by law, you can enjoy these beaches even if you are not a guest at The Buccaneer. Once you enter The Buccaneer’s property, go straight to the guard gate and the guard on duty will instruct you on where to park. The beaches at The Buccaneer generally offer plenty of parking nearby, restrooms, restaurants, bars, and freshwater rinse stations.
Rainbow Beach is located on the west end of St. Croix. There is plenty of parking available and a restaurant/bar where you can order food and drinks. There is usually live music, and a volleyball net set up on the beach for players. This is the Sunday hang out spot on St. Croix, otherwise referred to as ‘Sunday Funday’. The water is typically calm, so this is a good spot for snorkeling, and paddle boarding, and there are jet ski rentals located here. 25 minute drive

Rainbow Beach is located on the west end of St. Croix. There is plenty of parking available and a restaurant/bar where you can order food and drinks.
