The Red Reef Trailhead is right down the road from the casita and is the perfect short hike to get out and stretch your legs. If you are lucky, you'll be here when the water is flowing and have a good opportunity to cool off in the creek! This hike has beautiful red cliffs and is a great introduction to the area. Leave your National Parks Pass on the dashboard to cover the park fee!

If you're up for it, ask us about the silver Reef road up pine mountain. The scenic drive to St. George has gorgeous views and tons of hiking! This is an unpaved, somewhat bumpy mountain road; however, it is generally suitable for any vehicle.

Historic Babylon is a great place to explore near the casita. There are several hiking and ATV trails along with year-round river access to the Virgin River. We love to take quick trips up the road to explore or cool off in the water. I would recommend all wheel or 4 wheel drive.

Delicious Mexican food within walking distance! Just up the road we have our one local restaurant and it is the perfect stop for lunch or dinner. They offer outdoor seating and wonderful service.
